How to Release Emotions Trapped in Energy Centers

Do you often find yourself trapped in a cycle of negative emotions triggered by familiar events? Ever wondered if there’s a way to break free from this automated process? Well, you’re in luck because the answer is a resounding YES.

Negative emotions have a sneaky way of embedding themselves within our bodies, specifically in organs that are related to a specific energy center, that is responsible for a certain set of emotions. For example, money worries may manifest as lower back pain, feelings of unworthiness can impact fertility and sexual experiences, anger hurts the liver and stomach and hating someone affects the heart and lungs.
But why should you care? Because understanding the root cause of illness is the first step toward healing.

What Are Emotions?

Emotions, in essence, serve as messages from our subconscious minds, signalling whether we’re on the right or wrong path. However, when we choose to ignore these messages, they become stored in our energy centers, awaiting similar trigger events to happen. But fret not, there are ways to tackle this.

Emotions and Energy Centers

Let’s delve deeper into the intricate world of energy centers and emotions. When these centers are functioning optimally, they generate positive feelings. Conversely, when they’re out of balance, negative emotions arise, wreaking havoc on our physical and mental well-being.

1st / Root Energy Center (Principle: TO HAVE, Related to: Survival, Safety, Money): When balanced, we feel grounded, strong and secure, but imbalances can lead to feelings of insecurity and financial struggles.

2nd / Sacral Energy Center (Principle: TO FEEL, Related to: Emotions, Self-Worth and Creativity): A balanced sacral chakra fosters joy, high self-worth, creative expression, the ability to let go of negative experiences and ability to receive.
Imbalances can result in feelings of self-doubt, guilt, shame, and unworthiness. It also blocks creativity and makes sex life worse. It would cause holding on to past traumas.

3rd / Solar Plexus Energy Center (Principle: TO ACT, Related to: Power and Confidence): When balanced, we radiate strength, vitality and humor but imbalances can manifest as anger, obsessive control and a lack of energy.

4th / Heart Energy Center (Principle: LOVE, Related to: Love and Healing): A healthy heart chakra fosters self-love, forgiveness and connection to a community, while imbalances can lead to resentment and disconnection.

5th / Throat Energy Center (Principle: TO EXPRESS, Related to: Expression and Communication): When balanced, we speak our truth with ease, but imbalances can result in fear of expression and verbal attacks.

Negative Emotions from Traumatic Events Get Stored

But here’s the burning question: why do these negative emotions linger within us like old landmines? Well, it all goes back to our childhood when we were less than 12 years old. During this formative period, our subconscious minds are like sponges, absorbing information without filters. Traumatic events during this critical stage can lead to the storage of emotions within our energy centers, haunting us well into adulthood.

But fear not, for there is light at the end of the tunnel. We can employ various techniques to address and release these stored emotions, thus paving the way for healing and balance. Meditation, self-hypnosis, and energy work are just a few powerful tools in our arsenal.

Power of Subconscious Mind

When we go through a traumatic event, and for a sensitive child or an empath a screaming parent is a traumatic event, our survival programs sometimes store the event and the emotion into energy centers and refuse to release it until it’s understood or intentionally released.
The most useful tool from everything I have tried was a meditation where you go back in time, to the traumatic event and you have a dialogue with the person that hurt you. They will apologize to you and explain why they did it. It’s a mind-blowing experience. It has something to do with the fact that the subconscious mind is a portal to the world of spirit with access to all information from the beginning of time and it has unlimited resources.
Just for a better understanding of what unlimited resources mean.
The conscious mind is processing 40 bits of information per second, but the subconscious is processing 11 million bits of information per second. That’s 275,000 times more power than our conscious mind. That’s like comparing a bicycle with a commercial aeroplane.
Another powerful tool is an awareness that negative people are often secret guides helping our mind reach its full potential and find the life mission.

Cleansing of an Energy Center

Here’s a simple exercise to get you started on your journey of emotional healing. It’s an example of cleansing an energy center – in this case, the throat energy center.

  • Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed.
  • Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and allow yourself to relax.
  • Focus your attention on your throat area, the energy center associated with communication and expression.
  • Take a breath in.
  • Exhale slowly, envisioning any tension or negativity as dark smoke leaving your throat.
  • Inhale deeply and slowly, imagining golden light filling your throat with relaxation and ease.
  • Repeat affirmations such as “I express myself freely” or “I communicate with clarity and confidence”.

Additional Energy Work Techniques

Incorporating practices like self-love affirmations, forgiveness, and engaging in creative activities can further support emotional healing and energy balance.

  • Repeat “I LOVE myself” all day.
  • Forgive yourself your mistakes.
  • Forgive people that have hurt you, and see them as guides that increased your awareness about you.
  • Write what you want to say – record it – listen to it.
  • Re-create the sense of PLAY – play board and card games, dance.
  • Sing, play a musical instrument.
  • Do arts – write a short story, draw, paint, work with clay.
  • Do AEROBIC exercises and sports where you accelerate (soccer, tennis, table tennis, badminton, …).
  • Do YOGA focused on bending the spine (main energy paths go through spine).
  • Consolidate your finances to eliminate fear of not having money.
  • Do weightlifting to increase strength and confidence.
  • Walk in nature to reconnect with nature’s energy.
  • Walk barefoot to boost the bioenergy from Earth.
  • Eat raw organic vegetables and sprouts to absorb the live bioenergy.

Remember, healing is a journey. It requires patience, self-awareness, and a willingness to confront the shadows lurking within. By taking proactive steps to cleanse our energy centers and release stored emotions, we empower ourselves to live with peace and joy .
Alcoholics Anonymous have a brilliant concept – you have to say loudly: “Hi, I am Leo and I have a problem.” That moment where we are willing to admit that the problem exists and the problem is ours is 50 % of the whole healing process.
